On November 27 we open “Tell me about yesterday tomorrow” – an exhibition about the future of the past. International guests, a diverse program and more than 40 works of art await you. Join us for the opening!

 

The Polish art historian and curator Anda Rottenberg will deliver the keynote address titled “Long way to Laramie, Wyoming”, Heba Y. Amin will open the artistic part of the evening with an artist lecture and Michaela Meise will perform a concert of anti-fascist Schlager music. The opening party will start at 10 p.m at Kunstverein München.

 

“Tell me about yesterday tomorrow” shows contemporary works of art by over 40 international artists explore how to interpret the past and its links to the present against the background of the historical exhibition, opening up a dialogue between contemporary art and the remembrance work. An exhibition by the Munich Documentation Centre for the History of National Socialism from November 28, 2019 to August 30, 2020.
